Admission

When are the application deadlines for Spring and Fall 2020?

Spring 2020

While our priority application deadlines for spring (January) 2020 admission have passed, the admission committee will still consider complete applications as long as space remains available in the incoming class. Contact Dustin Cornwell, Senior Director, MBA/MS Programs, if you would like to apply for spring 2020 admission.

Fall 2020

We have several upcoming deadlines for fall (August) 2020 admission. Applications are reviewed as they are received, and applicants should expect to receive an admission decision within one month of submitting a complete application. Remaining deadlines for fall 2020:

  • January 6, 2020
  • March 6, 2020: Priority deadline for scholarship consideration.
  • May 6, 2020: Final deadline for scholarship consideration; final deadline for international applicants requiring a student visa.
  • July 6, 2020: Final deadline for domestic applicants; candidates are strongly encouraged to apply well before the deadline.

Do you waive the GMAT?
The GMAT cannot be waived; however, we do accept the GRE in place of the GMAT.

Is it better if I take the GMAT instead of the GRE?
We don't have a preference. However, you may want to look at the requirements for all schools you plan on applying to. If most require the GMAT, that may be the better option.

Is there a minimum GMAT score?
We would like to see scores of 600 and above. Submit your highest GMAT score for consideration. In addition to the GMAT score, we review an applicant’s entire experience – both academic and professional.

What type of math proficiency is required?
One college level math course is required. If you do not have a college level math course, a score above 600 on the GMAT is required. If you don't have either of these, you can take a math class at a community college to fulfill the requirement.

What if I don't have two years of work experience?
We require two years of work experience but we also accept relevant internships as part of that work experience.

How many letters of recommendation are required?
Two letters of recommendation are required. We prefer that the letters are from a direct supervisor or someone who has worked with you directly. It is not necessary to send more than two letters.

What is the minimum TOEFL/IELTS?
International applicants must take the TOEFL or IELTS unless they received a high school diploma or bachelor's degree in the United States. You must score 80 or above on the Internet TOEFL or 75 or above on the paper TOEFL. The minimum IELTS score is 6.0.

Who should I have my transcript evaluated by?
International applicants must have their transcripts evaluated by the or World Education Service (WES) or the International Education Research Foundation (IERF).
