Is the MBA program part-time or full-time?

What areas of emphases are offered?
Six areas of emphases are offered - Entrepreneurship, Finance, Human Resources/Organizational Behavior, Information Technology, International Business and Marketing. Three courses in a chosen area of emphasis are required.
When do classes meet?
Classes meet two nights a week starting at 6:30 p.m. to accommodate working professionals.
Can any classes be waived?
No, classes cannot be waived.
What is the Harvard Business School online course and do I have to complete it?
This short course measures students' statistics proficiency and is required of all students before beginning the program. The Harvard course is paid by MBA Program.
How long does it take to complete the program?
Given the program’s flexibility features, students starting in fall have four pathways available to them. These range from 20 to 36 months. We also have a spring admission. Click here to view the MBA Pathways summary.
When are the application deadlines for Spring/Fall 2019?
Applications are currently being accepted for Spring/Fall 2019. The Spring 2019 admission application deadline is December 1, 2018. Fall 2019 admission early application deadline is April 1, 2019 and regular application deadline is June 3, 2019
Do you waive the GMAT?
The GMAT cannot be waived; however, we do accept the GRE in place of the GMAT.
Is it better if I take the GMAT instead of the GRE?
We don't have a preference. However, you may want to look at the requirements for all schools you plan on applying to. If most require the GMAT, that may be the better option.
Is there a minimum GMAT score?
We would like to see scores of 600 and above. Submit your highest GMAT score for consideration. In addition to the GMAT score, we review an applicant’s entire experience – both academic and professional.
What type of math proficiency is required?
One college level math course is required. If you do not have a college level math course, a score above 600 on the GMAT is required. If you don't have either of these, you can take a math class at a community college to fulfill the requirement.
Do I have to complete the statistics requirement?
Yes, we require documented proficiency in statistics prior to beginning the program. This is satisfied by completing a short online Harvard Business School course which includes a proficiency exam. The Harvard course is paid by MBA Program.
What if I don't have two years of work experience?
We require two years of work experience but we also accept relevant internships as part of that work experience.
How long does it take to find out if I'm accepted into the program?
Once all components of the application are submitted, a decision is made within two weeks. A letter from LMU's Graduate Division will be mailed to you.
How many letters of recommendation are required?
Two letters of recommendation are required. We prefer that the letters are from a direct supervisor or someone who has worked with you directly. It is not necessary to send more than two letters.
What is the minimum TOEFL/IELTS?
International applicants must take the TOEFL or IELTS unless they received a high school diploma or bachelor's degree in the United States. You must score 100 or above on the Internet TOEFL or 75 or above on the paper TOEFL. The minimum IELTS score is 7.0.
Who should I have my transcript evaluated by?
International applicants must have their transcripts evaluated by the International Education Research Foundation (IERF) or World Education Service (WES).
Tuition, Fees and Scholarships
How much does the LMU MBA program cost?
The total cost of the LMU MBA Program is $88,500. This includes tuition, residentials, parking, books, mandatory university fees, and the global study component.
Do scholarships exist for MBA students?

Can I speak to or meet with the director of the program?
Of course. It is recommended to sign up for an info session which is typically led by the program director. You'll also have the chance to speak with current students and alumni.
Can I tour the campus?
Absolutely, please contact the Graduate Division to set up a campus tour.
Can I sit in on a class?
