Comparative Management Systems
The LMU MBA Program provides students with the opportunity to participate in an outstanding study of global business, Comparative Management Systems (CMS). As the culminating integrative learning experience, CMS provides a focused opportunity for students to gain first-hand exposure to global management concepts and practices. For those students who have selected an international track and have chosen courses from a variety of global business electives, CMS also leads to the Certificate in International Business.
Two semesters before the overseas visits, enrolled students form interest groups based on specific business issues. Each group is led by a faculty advisor.
After two semesters of research and study, the students spend several weeks in a predefined region of the world. In May 2007, CMS students will travel to Asia, with exciting company visits in Tokyo, Bangkok, Singapore, Beijing and Hong Kong.
Study Abroad
As part of your curriculum, you may choose to study abroad through our semester-long programs at EDHEC in Lille or Nice, France or the BiMBA Program in Beijing, China. All courses are taught in English.
If you are interested in a shorter international study opportunity, you may participate in the LMU MBA Bonn Program, a two-week course taught in Bonn, Germany or select a foreign-study course offered by one of our Jesuit partner schools.
